Last year while shooting a television series in Alaska, I was offered the opportunity to learn how to pilot a drone.  Since then, I have invested in my own DJI Phantom 3 quad-copter drone with 3 axis gimbal, and Sony 4K camera, which I have employed for both still photography, television, and motion pictures on multiple projects.  I'm having a ball.  I am and insured Drone pilot who takes precautionary measures to fly safely and legally within FAA airspace.
